According to Ayurveda (the science of life) we are all made up of a unique combination of elements. In this workshop we will go over these elements and help you determine your dosha (unique mind-body type). Have you ever wondered what makes you the way you are? Maybe you run cold and get easily distracted but your friend runs hot and has intense focus. Maybe you tend to lean towards anxiety, but your friend towards anger. This is all about self-discovery and knowing your strengths and weaknesses. This course if for anyone who is interested in Ayurveda or who wants to bring more balance into their life.
After this workshop you will understand:
• What your unique constitution (dosha) is.
• How to determine if your dosha is out of balance.
• What your strengths and weaknesses are.
• What yoga practices are good for your particular dosha. • How to implement balance and change into your daily routine.
These amazing doshas not only determine your unique constitution, but also help you move through the different phases of life, the day, and the seasons. The wisdom of Ayurveda is timeless and profound.
In this workshop we will just be focusing on the 3 doshas: vata, pitta, and kapha and how they manifest. Learning about my unique dosha was life changing for me. Having the ability to understand yourself on this deep level allows you to move towards balance and ease in your life and compassion and understanding for both yourself and those around you.
